Alright folks,

Welcome to the first of a series of posts, ‘What’s on my iPod?’. Through these posts, I will share with you the music I love and listen to, I really couldn’t imagine what life would be like without it. I might even show you artists, albums or songs which you’ve never heard of and are a must have!

Being a very nostalgic and sentimental person, I have a song for nearly every moment in my life that I can remember. It brings back places, people, events, holidays, childhood, good times and the bad times.

Let’s get to it…

California (Deluxe Edition)

Although release over a year ago, 1st of July 2016, this album still rocks! This album is very mid-fast tempo and the band sound as tight as ever, a bond you can only achieve with time. For those who listen to more than the words, lets give the drummer Travis Barker an applause! We all know how world class he is, but in this album he is off the chain! I mean, its not natural to be that quick is it? Class!

Now for the controversial part, I think this might be my favourite album from the band….. I’ll let that sink in. Their album’Enema of the State’ is probably their most iconic album with songs like ‘All the Small Things’ and What’s My Age Again’, but California already has a special place in my library. ‘Enema of the State’ is an album which brings back lots of memories of my childhood, so thats why I love this album and nothing will change that. Their new material is still classic blink-182 but its slightly modified at the same time. If that makes any sense??

I was extatic when they released a Deluxe Edition, most of my albums are Deluxe’s. The standard album has 16 songs whereas the Deluxe Edition has an extra 12! They have included a few 30 seconds tracks of high tempo music and small solos which I think are brilliant. They are different, funny and you can really get a real for the sheer talent of the band. So for fans of blink-182, I highly recommend this album and is a must for the iPod.

I had tickets to see the band at The BIC but unfortunately they had to cancel due to band ill health, so gutted!

My Top 3 Songs

  1. Bored To Death
  2. San Diego
  3. Last Train Home

There are many other amazing tracks but if I had to choose three then these are the ones!

Please check it out, until next time – folks.
