Happy New Year folks,

I love the beginning of a New Year, especially when it starts on a Monday! New Year, New Week, New Start. There’s something about it that makes life feel as if anything is possible. Goals feel more achievable, obstacles become invisible and excuses go out of the window.

When it comes to New Years Resolutions, I usually only set myself one personal target. However, this year I am going to set myself three.

Be More Organised

I like to think of myself as an organised person but at times I can improve on that. Instead of looking at the day ahead, I’m going to look at the week ahead!

Keep on top of my Blog

When I started this blog last year, I was smashing out two posts a week easy. All was going so well, then I became lazy. I just couldn’t be bothered and I don’t know why? I really wanted to do posts but I couldn’t bring myself to pulling my finger out and actually doing it. NO MORE! 2018 is going to see a new side to madebyal.

Keep a Journal…. and stick to it this time!

I started a journal last year and like my blog I kept on top of it. I managed to fill out 1/3 of 2017 and then I inevitably failed. Again, I wanted to do it but I just couldn’t be bothered. Lets give it another shot eh?

I feel as if these targets are achievable. As simple as these look though, I know they are not going to be easy and letting one day slip can mess up the whole system! I like setting myself personal goals, the feeling once they have been achieved is indescribable. Keeping on top of this blog his my biggest challenge and my biggest goal.

I am feeling very excited for 2018. I will not let anything stop me from accomplishing my goals and I hope you all achieve yours too. The only obstacle in your way is yourself.

Until next time – folks.

    1. It is genuinely a real task to keep up with it!
In 2016, me and my girlfriend bought this book where we write one line a day and we failed that too!
I’ve got last years Journal next to me and it’s sucks that I have only completed 100 days of it, so gutted!
Happy New Year to you too!
